Today our Stingrays learned about the special journey a sea turtle must take after it hatches. We made our own baby sea turtles at the art table. During circle time, we learned that although sea turtles are born on land their bodies are built for water and they immediately race for the sea. We watched a short clip of a video that showed sea turtles hatching. We were amazed at how brave the baby sea turtles were as they tried to run away from crabs and birds and find their way to the sea!
