Our turtles had fun playing with their friends!

The turtles had fun with red paint and red colored rice today! They used the paint to stamp love hearts and the rice to practice their pouring skills.

Today the Turtles had fun painting and playing with dried rice at the sensory table.

Today the Turtles made dog paintings and talked about having a dog as a pet.

Today the turtles talked about horses as pets. They also played with rice and tried fishing with our magnetic rods and fish.

Today the Turtle class talked about cats as pets. They even painted a cat picture.

Today the Turtles learned about having pet turtles at home! In art they made their very own Daniel turtles!

Our Turtle class loves to play! Today we explored a variety of blocks, dress up clothes, sensory and art activities!

Today the Turtle class learned about birds as pets! They even made their own birds that will be hanging in our room. Our Turtles also had fun playing with rice at the sensory table and some dress up clothes.

Today the Turtles learned about fish as pets. They also enjoyed playing in today’s sensory activity which included farm animals and hay.

Today the Turtles made birds using glue and feathers.

For the next two weeks the Turtles will be learning about pets. They will discuss different types of pets and best practices for taking care of them.

Today the turtles learned how people can wear special diving gear to explore the ocean. The children painted scuba diver pictures.

The Turtle class learned about turtles today and painted their own turtles for their display board. Please take a moment to notice all the beautiful artwork your child has created so far during this theme.

The Turtle class discussed different types of coral today. They made their own coral paintings and also played with sand at the sensory table.

Today the Turtles made whales using a marble painting technique. Please look for them on our display board the next time you visit! In the afternoon, the children stamped different sea life creatures.

Our turtles will be participating in a theme about Under the Sea this week and next! They will be making art projects that will showcase some local ocean creatures such as starfish, octopus, and jellyfish.

The Turtles were enjoying dancing, painting, and building with bristle blocks this morning.

Our Turtles enjoyed learning about sailboats today. They decorated their sailboats with paint and then pretended they were washing dishes at the sensory table.

The children in the turtle class made trucks today.

Today the Turtle class made hot air balloons and played with a variety of cars, trucks, and buses.

The Turtles will continue their study of various types of transportation this week. Please encourage your child to bring items from home to share at school that are related to our theme. Thank you!
