Today the stingrays sang songs to review all of the dinosaur names. We also read stories in the tent. Walked on the balance beams and washed dishes!

Today Mrs. Janet showed our class why the dinosaurs are extinct. We made dinosaur shaped cookies and played in the tent at the paleontologist dig sight.

Iguanas

Today the iguanas planted fruits and vegetables for our vegetable garden. Then tonight we played 5 green and speckled frogs.

Turtles

Today the turtles played with puzzles, read stories on the story time rug and painted yellow stars

Dino’s day three

Today the stingrays dug for dinosaur eggs while playing in the sensory table. They also made dinosaur head bands for art. Many of the children played with the pegs at one of the free choice tables.

Today the turtles finger painted for art. They also played with toys on the carpet and played dress up in home living.

Jakes trip to Africa

The iguanas had a special visitor. Mrs. Lee came to talk about their families trip to Africa. The class learned the most dangerous animal in Africa. Each child also got to see what Africa looks like on a map and how far away it is. Thank you very much for sharing with us.

Today the stingrays learned more about what a paleontologist does. We also played with dinosaurs around our volcano and made our own fossils.

This week we are learning about Dinosaurs!! We are pretending to be paleontologists. We have dinosaur costumes to wear and we also have pretend fossils to inspect. We made dinosaur eggs for art and read How Does a Dinosaur Eat Dinner.
